Movies scenes + Cee-Lo's Fuck You

The Dallas Observer has collected a few clips from movies where the music has been replaced by Cee-Lo's Fuck You . The Dirty Dancing one is probably the best: I wonder how the slow-dance scene at the end of Rushmore would work. Or the Enchantment Under the Sea Dance in Back to the Future. Audio NSFW. Why Was Jean-Claude Van Damme Deemed Expendable for 'The Expendables'?

Image
by Mike Ryan · August 13, 2010 In "The Expendables," Sylvester Stallone's latest guns-blazing return to the multiplex, the actor/director assembled a dream team of action stars to assist him with the very important work of blowing up everything in sight. Most notably, he recruited onetime big-screen rivals like Bruce Willis , Arnold Schwarzenegger , and Dolph Lundgren for his latest cinematic mission. An impressive collective of talent, to be sure, but the all-star roster of shoot-'em-up heroes has at least one glaring omission: Jean-Claude Van Damme . Whither the "Muscles from Brussels," star of "Hard Target," "Timecop," and "Universal Solider" ? What did the adorable Drew Barrymore choose to wear to host the Nylon magazine/Express party this week in Los Angeles? This gorgeous $25 metallic-printed 3/4-sleeve shift dress from a thrift store paired with $760 Yves Saint Laurent "Tribute" pumps, of course! I love the 1960's vibe she's got going on; the psychedelic print, the cut, and the pumped-up voluminous feel of her hair is a total win. It's so refreshing to see someone mix it up and have fun with fashion. Just last month she made an appearance in an Oscar de la Renta runway dress--a far cry, financially, from an Austin, TX thrift-store find. Don't you love it when vintage Drew -- the irreverent, quirky, girl power praising, throw-a-daisy-in-her-hair Drew that we all idolized in the 90's--steps out on

Image
by Matt McDaniel · August 13, 2010 Elizabeth Banks is quickly becoming known as one of the most versatile actresses in Hollywood. She gained fame in comedies like "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" and "Role Models," along with a recurring role on "30 Rock" last season. But she has also showed her dramatic range in films like "Seabiscuit," "Invincible" and "W." In the upcoming thriller " The Next Three Days " from Oscar-winning writer/director Paul Haggis , she has her highest profile role to date opposite Russell Crowe as a wife and mother sent to prison for murder.
