The winner of The Apprentice is… Tom! Woo! Well done, Tom! We started with sixteen, and tonight it all came down to the final four apprentices – Susan, Helen, Jim and Tom, all fighting it out for a £250,000 investment from Lord Alan Sugar. Each apprentice was subjected to tense, gruelling rounds of interviews, where their CV’s and business plans were probed and pulled apart by Lord Sugar’s helpers (including Margaret who made a welcome return). All four finalists were left sweating, squirming and doing all they could to blag their way to a business partnership. After the interview process Jim, Tom, Susan and Helen had their final ever boardroom showdown with The Lord. Jim was the first to feel the wrath of the Sugar, Susan went next, so it all came down to Tom and Helen.
