Education: High School for the Performing Arts (New York)

Married: She married long-time boyfriend Brad Pitt on July 29, 2000 at a ceremony on an ocean bluff. About 200 guests attended the lavish sunset ceremony at an estate owned by television executive Marcy Carsey.
Aniston was introduced to the acting world at an early age by her father, John, who starred on NBC's "Days of Our Lives." She went to school at the artsy Rudolf Steiner School in New York and joined the drama club at age 11. She later graduated from New York's famous High School of the Performing Arts, where she received professional training in theater arts.
Her first professional acting gigs were in off-Broadway theater, and she later nabbed her first television role in 1989 as a regular on "Molloy." Other television roles followed on "Ferris Bueller," "The Edge" and "Herman's Head."
But her early television jobs pale to her role as Rachel, the slightly prissy ex-waitress on the mega-hit "Friends." It's a role that's brought her numerous Internet shrines and increasing film projects, with more desireable scripts coming her way since a 1993 film debut in the elfin-horror flick "Leprechaun."
Nevertheless, it's been challenging for Aniston to juggle her film career along with her lucrative role on "Friends." "No one can convince me that it doesn't harm the quality of the show ('Friends') that people have to fly on Friday to New York to shoot for two days and come back late Sunday night to be back at work Monday," quipped "Friends" costar David Schwimmer to Mr. Showbiz.
