It’s a good thing Paris Hilton’s brother Barron Hilton comes from a family who aren’t short of a bob or two – the hotel heir has lost a civil lawsuit filed against him and must pay out $4.9 million. Barron must pay damages to a petrol station attendant that he allgedly struck with his car back in 2008. Barron has been ordered by a jury to pay $3million for pain and suffering, $1.9 million for expenses and punative damages, £225,000 in punative damages and $71,000 in interest. Barron, now 21, allegedly struck  Fernando Tellez with his Mercedes Benz at a Pacific Coast highway petrol station and was later arrested on suspicion of a DUI. He was given three years probation. "This wild night of reckless partying resulted in Mr. Tellez's permanent disability, required him to undergo multiple surgeries and medical procedures and destroyed his family and his ability to provide for his family," the victim's legal representative told the Los Angeles Times . Poor old Paris Hilton, It looks as though her relationship with Las Vegas club owner Cy Waits has come to an end. The reason for the split is said to be that Cy wasn’t a big fan of the celeb lifestyle, preferring ‘The Simple Life’ (Too soon?). Paris is said to be distraught as Cy had stuck with her through her more troublesome times. He helped her through her eating issues, was a shoulder to cry on when that party crasher nicked her birthday cake back in February (LOL) and stood by her during that pesky drug arrest back in August (not so lol). Cy helped Paris overcome her food demons and over the past year she’s gained ten pounds and looks a lot happier and healthier. That’s what we like to hear, boyfriends FEEDING their celeb girlfriends! Our kind of guy. So it seems a shame that Waits has supposedly thrown in the towel.
